Soy Peptone

Description

Bacteriological grade soy peptone (animal free). Containing a mix of peptides and free amino acids, it is often used as a nutrient and vitamin additive for culturing mediums. Soy peptone is a papaic/pancreatic digest of defatted soybean meal derived from sources free of genetic modifications. It is manufactured by a controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of soybean meal and is an ideal substitute for peptone derived from animal sources for all growth media including tissue culture, fermentation and agar plates.
