These are 100mm plates.
Our own agar formula including potato dextrose, yeast extract, and a blend of sugars. Hand poured in front of our flowhood to ensure sterility. Plates are sealed to prevent contamination, shrink wrapped to prevent lids from moving and to preserve sterility. Can be ordered with or without antibiotics, and can be colored based on buyer preference, otherwise coloring is based on what we have in stock.
Antibiotics are recommended when working with new genetics, especially those sold by vendors. Antibiotics will slow the growth of contaminants, especially bacterial contaminants, allowing your mycelium to out grow any contamination giving you more clean materials to transfer.
